School Administrator/Kindergarten Teacher
Julie is finishing her 18th year teaching at Faith Country Chapel and her 3rd year as school administrator. Before coming to FCC she went overseas to do her student teaching and was director of a local daycare for a few years. Julie is married with 2 children, Erika and Austin, who are in grade school at Laurel Elementary. Julie is a member of Faith Country Chapel and is very active with the church’s children’s programs.

Tracey Baker
Preschool Assistant
Tracey is in her 5th year assisting with the preschool. She, her husband, and their two boys life in the Laurel area.
Our Classes
Kindergarten
The kindergarten program is for children who are 5 years of age by September 1. This class meets 5 days a week from 8:45-11:30 AM. Students who attend the kindergarten program receive a strong educational base and are equipped and ready to start their elementary education. Along with secular education, such as learning sight words, reading, writing, and basic math, the students learn the 10 Commandments, some Psalms, and several Bible verses throughout the year. Yearly tuition $1,260 + $50 registration fee.
Preschool
Preschool classes are for children who are 4 years of age by September 1. We offer two classes. Both meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Morning class 8:45/9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Afternoon class 12:15/12:30 - 3:00 PM. Yearly tuition $1,035 + $50 registration fee. Miss Morrison uses the Handwriting without Tears curriculum to prepare students for kindergarten at Faith Country Chapel or other institutions. Children will learn to identify letters, capital and lower case, as well as learn letter sounds, as well as proper pencil grip, sequencing, and sight words. The students also learn to recite the 23rd Psalm, the Pledge of Allegiance, and several Bible verses throughout the year.
Early Learners
Children who are age 3 by September 1 are eligible for our Early Learners class. The three classes available are Monday/Wednesday morning 9:00-11:00 AM, Monday/Wednesday afternoon 12:30-2:30 PM, and Tuesday/Thursday morning 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Yearly tuition $765 + $50 registration fee. Children in the Early Learners program are taught basic shapes, colors, numbers 1-5, and the 5 senses, along with a strong emphasis on Bible verses, stories, and the Fruit of the Spirit. They also learn basic socialization skills to help prepare them for the following years of education.

Debbie taught Early Learners at Faith Country Chapel for 27 years and the bookkeeping for 16. She and her husband Ron are active at New Life Baptist church and have 3 boys who are married and have 5 wonderful grandchildren.

Chelsea Milbert
Early Learners Assistant
Chelsea has been working in our Early Learner classes for 10 years. She has attended Faith Country Chapel her whole life and has been involved with the children’s programs for many years. Chelsea and her husband have 2 children, Angel and Deryk, who attend Laurel.

Abbey Morrison
Preschool Teacher
This is Abbey’s 3rd year teaching preschool at Faith Country Chapel. She is a graduate of Laurel High School. Abbey is an active helper in Faith Country Chapel’s youth group and loves being around kids.
Allie Pollman
Early Learners Assistant
Allie is in her 4th year assisting in the Early Learners class. She and her family have been long time attendees of Faith Country Chapel.
